    14. If the length of the term of office served in the European Parliament or in a national parliament is not sufficient under national arrangements to give rise to any pension entitlement, the period concerned shall be taken into account in calculating the pension based on this Statute.
    15. The rights of persons to whom a pension was awarded prior to 1 January 2005 may, on the application of the persons concerned, be reviewed, taking account of the provisions of this Regulation.
